From the 15th to the 21st of August 2010 I have been live mixing at the JAZZ UND MEEhR Festival at Vitte/Hiddensee. Hiddensee is a wonderful place where Nina Hagen wrote a song about. It was the island of artists back in the GDR. Famous writers, painters and musicians used to live there. And it was an important vacation destination, as GDR citizens were only allowed to travel within the GDR. Till today the island is free of cars, which has a quite a slow down effect. It is a wonderful place to work. After curfew I went to the beach to watch sunset and stars, accompanied by the echo of beautiful sounds. JAZZ UND MEHR is an annually repeating festival which was founded in 2005 by Petra Liesenfeld.
